10 year old Thoroughbred gelding for sale. Registered. Merlin is over 16 hands, dark bay with a white blaze and 2 white socks. He’s beautiful and healthy and sound. He’s current with all his shots and worming. Merlin is not for beginners? he neeeds an experienced rider. He’s smart and with some arena work will be a really great horse. The woman who owned him before me started him in some local shows and he was doing well. I’ve only ridden him for pleasure out on the trails for the past few years and I’ve really enjoyed him. Beautiful palomino gelding, 4 years old, 15 hds., very good color with
white mane and tail, wide white blaze and white stockings. He is an elegant
sturdy horse who can carry weight and has excellent conformation with
no flaws. I have used him for trail riding and have ridden him in the
ring, but he is still green and I don't ride that often so he needs someone
who will continue his training. He has a lovely disposition, loves people,
comes right up to you in the field, stands for the farrier, is excellent
to work around in the stall or when grooming, trailers fine and is an
easy keeper. I hate to sell him, but he should be with someone who will
realize his potential and who will give him some work to do. He has always
been sound, has never had any sickness or injuries and is turned out with
other horses all the time. I do not recommend any young horse for a beginner,
as it would be better for him to be with someone who knows what they are
doing to bring out his best. I am asking $2,900.00 for him, OBO.

Registered Thoroughbred gelding, 6 yrs., 16.3 hds., dark red bay. This
horse is a gorgeous animal with wonderful conformation, fine legs, medium
build, a long, snakey neck and lovely head. He is one of the kindest,
most affectionate Thoroughbreds that I have ever seen or owned. He loves
everyone, is first at the gate when you go to bring your horses in and
follows you around like a puppy. I have never known him to buck and he
has always been a gentleman when I have ridden him. I started him out
in Dressage and he is nice to ride in the ring with long floating gaits
and good collection. He is quiet to work around, stands well for the farrier
as well as to be washed and groomed. He is sound and unblemished and would
make a very wonderful show horse or a really classy Dressage horse. To
see him is to love him and I have had many offers to buy him, but have
not wanted to part with him until just now as I have decided to get out
of Dressage and go trail riding with my husband. I would like to see him
go to someone who is a good rider and who could really accomplish a great
deal with him as he is worth it. He is a very special horse and is priced

ROPING/BARREL/RODEO-JR. RODEO HORSE: This is a 21 y/o white and sorrel registered paint mare (APHA No. 138,848) who needs to go back to what she does best...rope and run barrels. She's 14.3 HH, about 980 lbs., ties, clips, stands for vet and farrier, trailers, gets along with other horses (she is not a dominant mare), etc. She is a speed event horse with great bloodlines (Go Man Go, Top Deck and Three Bars on her Sire's side, Peppy on her Dam's side). Jasper is a flashy 5 year old reg. paint gelding. He was used as a 4-H
project. He showed in halter classes. Jaz is 15.0 hh. He would make a
wonderfull work horse such as, roper, barrels, cows, cutting ect. He is
very gentle and loves to please. He needs a intermideate rider. No beginners.
He uses both a bit and a hackamore. Currently he is being riden in a hackamore.
He is up to date with all of his shots, stands for the farrier. He has
alittle problem with being caught but I am working on that. Other than

9 YO sorrel gelding 15.2 HH. Prince was owned by an elderly man who gathered cattle on him and used him around his place. We have owned him for almost two years and he has been my daughter’s show horse. She has done quite well on him, but his heart is not in arena work. He is very cowy and would prefer to be ridden several times per week, rather than every now and then. He has a nice wide chest and a big hip. Grade TB gelding (looks and acts half-warmblood), 16.1 hands, bright orange
chestnut with two diagonal socks. Will be 15 years old in August 2008.
He also has an absolute "pocket-pony" disposition, is very sweet
with kids, and makes everyone he meets fall in love with him. He is very
well trained and very mellow, but he is fat and out of shape since he
hasn't been ridden much since 2002. His hocks are a bit "ouchy"
and his back needs some chiropractic work and so he can't be jumped anymore,
but he's fine for flat work and he loves trail riding. He was previously
evented up through training level and was ready to move up to prelim in
2002, but we moved here. I LOVE this horse and have had him for 10 years.
The ONLY reason I am parting with him is due to financial issues. He is

We purchased this mare from a lady (April) a couple of weeks ago, in San Ysidro, NM (north of Albuquerque). We were told that she was a great kid horse which was rode by her 7 year old daughter for the last eight months for general riding. The photo which was listed on this website showed her daughter sitting on this horse backwards, saddled up. We got the horse home and upon working with her we determined that this was not the horse we wanted for our kids. This horse will need an intermediate or better rider. I would not put any of our kids on this horse and felt we were mislead when we purchased this horse. We were told the horse was approx. 14 years old and 14.1 hands. Barlinks Sugar Day, foaled 1996. Registered paint mare, breeding stock.
Sorrel/solid tall and big. Is broke, hasn't been worked much my me but
came from working at sale barn. Sire is Barlink Tuff Times and Dam is
Sugar Day Lady.
Bucky, also foaled in 2004. Dam is Barlinks Sugar Day, not registered.
Broke to ride, but needs work since has not been worked for over a year.
Pretty gelding, tall. Had a run in with a pack of dogs at 6 days old and
has some scars on right flank. Extremely gentle.
Thats a starter list of horses that I have that need good homes. These
horses are all gentle and should make fine horses if given the training
and discipline needed, never have had a rough hand.

1989 NSH (Arabian/Saddlbred) Chestnut mare with 4 white socks. Looks fantastic for her age and is flashy in the ring. Cute, balanced, 14.1 hh, 900 lbs. 8 Year old Quarter Pony for sale. He is a sorrel with a blazed face and 2 white stockings, Flaxen mane and tail. He is about 13.1 HH. We bought this pony to help teach my 6 year old boy how to ride on and build his confidence. We were told he was ridden by an 8 yr old boy and a 2 year old and that he also ran gymkhana events. After we received him we found out he plow reins and he has a bit of an attitude. He hasn't bucked or kicked at all. We haven't tried him with other horses yet but was told he was out with other horses. I personally would not have recommended this pony for a child without him having more training especially for an inexperienced child. My son was riding a bigger horse that neck reins so the plow reining just confuses him. I just wanted something a bit smaller. We have only had him for about a month. We don't have the time to train him besides we would feel awkward on him.. They said he can carry a small adult so I think a teen could train him.
