(1) “Annie” is a 20 yr old Sorrel QH mare. 15 hands. Retired
show horse and currently ridden by 9 yr old. Mare is very well trained,
pleasure headset and has a beautiful jog and lope. $1,000
(2) “Wally” is a 16 yr old dark Palomino QH gelding. 15.3 hands.
Used on trail and ranch and currently ridden by 5 yr old. Easy to catch,
loves attention, good manners, great neck rein, very gentle and sweet.
A “babysitter” type horse but fun for adults to ride too. $1,400
(3) “Missy” is an 8 yr old AQHA Palomino mare. 14.3 hands and
beautiful. Great bloodlines top and bottom daughter of Dun it with
a Twist (by Hollywood Dun It). Soft and light under saddle she is
quick and responsive so is not recommended for a beginner rider. Excellent
prospect for competitive roping, reined cowhorse, team penning, etc. $4,500
(4) “Snow” is a 4 yr old AQHA Cremello. 14.2 hands. Performance
bloodlines top and bottom. She is started under saddle and is very gentle
and responsive to training. Thorough roundpen training with sensitizing/desensitizing.
Mellow personality, no spook. A nice, quiet mare that won’t take
much to finish. A steal at $2,000 since we haven’t had the time to
get her finished.
(5) “Tulsa” is a 3 yr old AQHA Red Dun filly. 14.2 hands and
stout. High Brow Hickory and Smart Chic Olena on her AQHA certificate.
Has had roundpen training. Gentle, but has the “git ‘er done”
attitude common in her bloodlines. Bred for performance - should excel
at cutting, reined cowhorse, team penning, etc. Quick and fast. We got
her at 7 mos and have not had the time to get her going. Your chance to
get a great competition prospect at an unheard of price we are taking
a big loss and offering her at $1,500.
(6) “Star” is a gorgeous 1 yr old AQHA Palomino filly. Her sire
is Rio Starlight (son of Greys Starlight). She is extremely well bred,
all performance bloodlines. Handled since birth, very sweet and gentle.

Steps Wimpy Hancock is a 1998 grey gelding. He has a great foot and is not shod; he is used to a back girth; a snaffle bit or a tom thumb is fine on him; he is great in a box stall and gets along very well with everyone including foals. Doc Bar Qton Eagle is a 2004 blach and white Paint gelding, a little over 15.2. He rides quiet and is started into neck reining. Extremely beautiful, correct, 8 year old APHA solid chestnut (1/2 inch white strip around one hoof) registered mare. Incredible pedigree, Dam’s side back to Bold Ruler four generations ago, Sire’s side back to Painted Joe four generations back, and so many top recognizable names on both sides you’ll be blown away. Have most of eight generations back researched. Sire and Dam were both highly pointed Working horses. This mare is very sweet, registered name is Repo’s Lil Sweetie, and she lives up to her name. She is fast, though, and can take a serious competitor to the very top in barrels, poles, or roping. She was initially saddle trained for five months by Blue and Jeannie Allen in Alamosa, CO, and has had various training since. I bought her for my daughter to become a serious competitor, but when she turned 16 she basically forgot about horses. This mare deserves better than to stand around. Either breed her, or use her for any activity (highly preferred). Originally thought I’d not sell her for less than $5000 but have decided to place her in a home where she’ll be used, I’m asking $3000. She was started using Natural Horsemanship techniques and trained in Classical Dressage after that. She is schooling first level and is now learning shoulder in and canter depart from walk. She was started on the trail, around the property and neighborhood last fall, but she is still green on the trail. Sedona is out of a TB mare and the imported Lusitano stallion, Sabia dos Pinhais. 20 year old been-there-done-that Saddlebred-X white & black mare
for sale to good home. The usual excuses - worn out from work, short on
time, too many horses, price of hay, blahblahblah. I'm not a trader even
in my wildest dreams. She neck reins, direct reins, good stop and back,
gentle forward movement (no Martingales, she was born to have her head
upright), no buck, bite, crib. She is sweeter than sweet, but she doesn't
like to be hard-tied; comes with push button training, but she's out of
practice; she has an old bow that is well healed but it permits ditchbank
rides, not steep, rocky trails. Current on worming, vaccines, natural
balance farrier. Stands for a bath, grooming, easy to catch and saddle,
no problem for the farrier unless she's hard-tied. Responds to voice commands,
but if you have a tendency to yell, she is sensitive to that and you will
shatter her so, please do not inquire. Good leadline prospect, she finds
children agreeable, fascinating and odiferous. Shy at first, but once
she trusts you, she'll be sniffing your hair and neck, welcoming a scratch
and a gentle hug and follow you around like a shadow to see what you're
up to (maybe it involves carrots?). Gentle hands, a good heart and consistency
required for this special girl. She has earned it. She is a horse to love

"Mister Personality" aka "Mister" says it all. This

All around- do it all mare. Head horse or Jumping mare. 15h, 7 years old. Mostly trained english and shown hunter/jumpers but recently has picked up heading and has caught on fast! Very cowy, can chase steer, dally and pull but hasn't turned one yet(as of may 28). Will be turning steers soon! She is being roped off of 2x a week. As for english, she has been shown hunter/jumpers at 2'6" and is usually always in the top 3. Very confident jumper, knows her spots and has only refused 1 time in all the years I have jumped her. Started on flying lead changes, moves off legs, neck reins, very soft the bit. This mare excels in both english and western. Has a very nice build with a nice mind. SWEET HORSE! Ember is a 12 yr old 14.2h sorrel quarter horse cross. He is very sweet and intelligent, rides english or western (direct or neck reins), perfect for teenager or smaller adult. He has been ridden on the trails with other horses by absolute beginners, was perfect. Not scared of dogs or traffic. Any time family or friends visit, this is the horse they ride. He is calm under saddle, somewhat lazy at times, and has never bucked. He absolutely loves attention, enjoys treats, and loves to be brushed. I have ridden him at the walk/trot/canter bareback. He prefers to ride in a hackamore, whoever owned him before us was very rough on his mouth. However, he can be ridden in a snaffle or grazing bit. He can also be ridden in just a halter and leadrope. He would make an excellent lesson horse. He is a super easy keeper. He doesn't need to be blanketed in the winter, however he does need access to shelter and 24/7 access to water of course. He gets vitamins, has access to a mineral/salt block, had his teeth checked in April (good to go at least a year), dewormed regularly, and stands for farrier. He has good legs, strong feet (always barefoot), stands tied, clips, and bathes. We are only selling because we were given a rescue horse who needs lots of attention, and we just don't have time to work with him anymore. Tupelo Honey, 4 year old double registered Andalusian/ Arab, 15 hand gelding Tupelo is coming along nicely, working training and 1st level movements such as walk, trot, canter, leg yield, shoulder in, counter canter, trot lengthening.. He is very supple and the lateral work comes very easily to him. Although he is still rather inexperienced, he LOVES to trail ride. He knows plenty of ground work/Clinton Anderson and in-hand exercises for respect, for fun, and to improve his strength, suppleness and understanding. I've started him in Dressage but he loves to learn new things and will excel in almost any discipline. He has gorgeous straight legs, strong bare feet, and a brain you cannot believe. Very smart, very sweet, loves to learn, bold and curious. Not particularly spooky or silly, but still young, so looking for someone who can continue to build his confidence. I bought him at a sale and trained him to do everything he knows,

Love is a 10 year old, 14.3 hh, chestnut, Arabian. For the past
two years she has been a part of our lesson program, prior to that
she was a broodmare producing show quality offspring. She is an
all-around horse who can go hunter, western, jumping and she goes

Phoenix is a 9 Year old gelding quarter horse. 15.1 hands. Excellent ground manners, no bad habits. Very healthy, never been lame. Performs better with an intermediate rider. I am having to find a new and loving home for my beloved mustang. Due
to my divorce, I am having to move back into the city (ABQ) and can no
longer house nor care for him. He is my baby, even though he is already
in his early 20's. He is sound and spry and has wonderful carriage. He
is 14.2HH with beautiful bay markings. He has a nice long back that make
for a dreamy collected trot, canter, and with is big shoulders and long
stride he is usually the "fast walker" in a group. He is a love,
a puppy dog when he bonds. He will follow you around begging for his tummy
to be scratched. He loves trail, and is always a willing partner. He prefers
to be a weekend warrior, but gives no matter how much I ask. He requires
a gentle slow, kind hand. He does not respond well to loud, domineering,
aggressive approaches. He would be great for an older woman just looking
to get out on some nice leisurely trail rides and who wants to give lots
of attention even when not riding. He likes baths and to be brushed. He
goes barefoot with his big strong thick mustang hooves, stands great for
the farrier, loads, trailers, lunges. I have used him for kids gymkhanas
and barrel exhibitions, and he's great in those environment too! He has
had regular wormings and is current on all vaccinations. He comes with
his bridle and bit, built up saddle pad, lunge line and side lunge lines
that go to a nice halter lunging piece, and his Dennis Reis training flagging

FOR SALE (3/6/09): Thoroughbred gelding, 4 yr. old, registered with the
Jockey Club. Chestnut. 16.2 + hands. Paco Diablo was raced one time as
a three year old and brought back home because he did not seem interested
in racing and training. (He is a little on the lazy side for a race horse).
At home, he was exposed to dogs, cats, goats, children, etc. and is fine
with it all. He loads and unloads easily, stands tied, stands for the
farrier, enjoys being groomed. He has excellent ground manners and really
likes people and attention. He is very easy to handle. After several months,
he was sent back into training at a very well-respected facility and after
a month and a half, came to the conclusion that this horse just doesn’t
want to be a race horse. However, he will make some lucky person a wonderful
riding partner with a little work. He has the looks and movement if you
are interested in the show ring. Paco has received the very best care
and he is ready to go on to a new career. He is built big and is in great
shape. His tail is long and lovely, his mane is pulled, and his coat is
slick and shiny. Asking $1,500 obo but the most important thing is that
Paco goes to a good home where he will be loved and enjoyed. He is a sweet
horse and has lots of potential. We will certainly miss him but he deserves
to have a long and happy life as someone’s special horse. Paco is

AQHA Bay Mare Skipa Little Gata 14.1 HH. “Penny” is a sweet
bay mare who will be coming six years old at the end of April. Penny loves
people and would rather spend time getting loved on by her people than
just about anything else – we call her our “pocket pony.”
Nicely bred with Doc Bar, Poco Pikaki, and Doc O’Lena just off her
papers (4th generation). I started Penny under saddle in the spring of
2007 and she did very well, by that fall we were able to ride her around
the paddock bareback. However, she has been off for about the past year
and not ridden at all. I have been working with her some on the weekends
and she is great with her ground work and we have ridden her a bit at
the walk/trot, but at this point she is still very green. I just don’t
have the time to work with her consistently and want to find her a great
home where some one can pay lots of attention to her and work with her
– I think she would be a wonderful prospect for 4H. She is very responsive,
eager to please, and would excel at just about any discipline. You couldn’t
