Hello my name is Tanya Striebeck. I have just moved back to Washington from Montana and am looking for a facility that needs a live on site caretaker. I have been on a working cattle ranch for the past 4 years managing 500 mother cows with calves and 55 head of horses. Also feeding and managing pastures. Prior to that I was riding for the public, starting colts, restarting problem horses, and giving lessons. I was wondering if your facility has anything like this available, or know of another facility that might. I would appriciate it if you could keep me in mind if something were to come up. Camp River Ranch in Carnation, WA is looking for qualified horse staff. Riding staff should have previous experience in either western or english disciplines and be able to provide a reference for horse skills. Duties include teaching lessons, leading trail rides, herd management and participating in general camp activities. Also hiring for camp counselors. I really need someones help on "How to organize a Poker Ride" if you or anybody else has information on how to get started or can steer me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.
