Virginia Beach, VA -- Heron Creek Farm is located on 32 acres in Pungo,
the heart of Virginia Beach horse country. HCF focuses on private instruction
in hunt seat equitation as well as starting and training horses. Students
range from beginners to AA-Rated United States Equestrian Federation division
participates.
Beginning students are selectively placed on experienced "school
masters", horses that help teach riders the basics. As students progress,
lease programs allow students to ride and show on the highest quality
horses and ponies.
Horsemanship, safety and sportsmanship are priorities. We offer training
board to a limited number, and specialize in special equine needs such
as laminitis prevention and individual nutritionally tailored feed programs.
Starting young horses naturally without "breaking", and continuing
training or retraining experienced horses to enjoy their job, makes a
horse that is successful and a pleasure to ride.
In addition, Kathleen Renfro, owner of Heron Creek Farm, is a certified
equine massage therapist. She enjoys all aspects of equine care and hopes

and more than 20 years of placing horses in the show circuit (10 horses
currently showing all levels though A Circuit). Training: $550/month (includes
