Equine Muscle Release Therapy’s - First Aid for Horses

The 1 day self interest course has been specifically developed for you, the Horse Owner. Help is often only as far away as your hands. The Equine Muscle Release Therapy First Aid for Horses has been instrumental in saving lives. The useful procedures in this course can often help until the vet arrives.
Course Content:
· What to include in your First Aid Kit, vital signs, how to handle a horse in a First Aid situation
· What to check the horse for – knowing the information the vet will need when you phone
· Wound management, how to stop bleeding, bandaging
· How to deal with common First Aid conditions e.g. Azoturia (tying up), Anhidrosis (dry coat), bowed tendon,
choke, colic etc whilst waiting for the vet.
· EMRT™ First Aid Remedies
· EMRT™ Potentially Life saving First Aid Emergency moves
· First Aid includes ECL&R’s Course book
What is EMRT™
EMRT™ involves a sequence of very gentle moves that stimulate the fascial tissue at key points on the horse’s body.
EMRT™ addresses every system in the horse’s body to bring about a state of balance.
EMRT™ is a Holistic treatment that works on the Central Nervous System reprogramming the trauma.

GLENMAR HORSE TRAINING; HORSE Day CAMP FOR KIDS 2008 Our facility is located on a secluded street just north of Hillsboro, Oregon. Our horses are all kid broke and love to be apart of your childs horse experience. Our staff are students that have done the camp since the start of it, well versed with kids. This camp will provide fun and equine education at a working show horse facility. The kids will learn about feeding, grooming, stall cleaning, saddling, riding and rider communication with the horse, safety and arena etiquette. Date and Time; Please check the week you would like to attend also number the other weeks in order of preference, in case one is full, I can move you to another week. If there is a week you are unable to attend let me know. The camp runs from 9am to 1pm daily. ____June 30-July 3, 2008 ____July 7-10, 2008 ____August 3-7, 2008 This Camp was in the Portland Community College summer program for several years when they had programs for kids. At Chehalem Mountain Ranch daycamp, your child has a horse of their own to take care of for their time at camp. Your child will learn many aspects of horse safety and learn how to properly care for "their horse".
