We are 3 different people looking for pasture boarding for 4 horses within 50 miles of Cincinnati, Ohio. We are experienced farriers, barefoot trimmers, and trainer who would be willing to exchange services for a reduced board fee. We are trail-riders who just prefer natural horsemanship and a relaxing atmosphere. The pastures must include run-in sheds, and acess to water. We have our own tanks and drag. We can be responsible for reseeding, liming, rotation, or mowing of pastures. Our horses have a negative coggins and vaccinations. Powder View Stables, a small Dressage and Hunt-seat training and lesson facility is looking for a a working student to being work as early as April 2009 through August 2009. This person must be able to work independently and have self-motivation and a good work ethic. Work will vary depending on amount of training and lesson clients per month, however on average work will include 1-4 days per week. Work that will be asked of the student will vary with experience however it may include, stall cleaning, feeding, turnout, grooming, tacking, care of tack, lunging, excising, and other general barn chores. Experience with horses is required and riding experience is preferred, however it doesn't have to be a dressage background. 15-year-old experienced with both riding and working around a barn looking for somewhere that I can work off some board. I've been riding for 9 years--I've shown in western pleasure, hunter under saddle, hunter/jumpers, showmanship, horsemanship, trail, and reining in mostly APHA, some AQHA, and many local shows. I've helped with summer camps, lessons, shows, and I've broken two 2-year-olds from the start (I know how to drive, saddle break, begin riding them etc.). I can also feed, clean stalls, sweep halls, help out at shows, and help with other barn chores.
