Looking to fill two instructor/trainer positions. Full time and Part time. We are a boarding and lesson facility in Northeast Ohio that is looking for an energetic, customer focused instructor/trainer to assist our head instructor/trainer with our large riding lesson program, summer camp, and shows. Applicants should love working with beginner through advanced riders of all ages in the English disipline. Instructor/Trainer should be a competent rider who can school horses and determine sutiability of horses in the lesson program. Looking for riding instructor or trainer (full sized or miniature) who can set up clients here in exchange for 2-3 lessons/training per week of our horses. Looking for someone who understands and practices natural horsemanship, besides their discipline expertise and knows how to teach adults. We are one of the oddball farms that is not QH based and having a hard time finding what we and other natural horsemanship and non QH people need in this area. We are a VERY private horse facility 4 miles out of downtown Ashland. We have a indoor and outdoor arena, plus 60' outdoor round pen. We can take up to 6 boarders in 2008, starting in spring. This is not a paid position. You would be given use of the arenas and other training areas for free and be guaranteed lessons would be you and your clients only in the arena at those scheduled times. Your wages are what you charge your clients, without arena fees. If your horse needs boarding we can work that out to a minimal or no costs situation also. Hello. I am a 19-year old sophmore at Kent State University looking for a barn job. I have ten years of experience with horses,and four years of 4H experience with western contesting. I have a total of 9 years of 4H experience outside of the horse world. I ride well, and am willing to excercise horses. I also have experience with training dogs and cats, as well as caring for small animals. I love to learn, am happy to do so to meet the needs of the barn. Hello. I am a 27 yr old horse trainer who has taken some time off to be a housewife and take care of my own horses and dogs!! I am willing to work days, weekends, evenings, part-time or full time. Wages are extremely negotiable. Will not drive more than 30 min. day if wages are not better than $8.00. I have ridden since I was 2 and have shown from 1994 thru 2002 in POA and also in NRHA.
