We at Organic Roots
Horticulture would like to work with the local equestrian community.
We specialize in full service organic natural resources management. Our
landscape designs feature native, edible, aromatherapy, medicinal wildlife
attractive plant materials, mushroom logs, natural stone patios, walkways,
walls and recycled composite and naturally treated wood construction materials.
Our landscape installations include only certified organic, organic or
naturally occurring fertilizers, beneficial bacteria and fungus as a wellness
program for our plant material. In addition, our pest and pathogen management
is based off the idea that encouraging optimal nutrition and an intact
cycle of life is all plants healthiest path. In turn, when treatment of
negative symptoms is needed we first attempt to overcome the problem with
naturally occurring beneficial counterparts, then use broad spectrum organic
products as a last resort and never use products with a negative net effect
even if they are organic. We pride ourselves in running 99% bio-diesel,
in our skid steer and large commercial mower and using bio-based lubrication
in all of our equipment. We are presently working on the purchase of 67
acres in portage county where we will begin an extensive composting program
and a certified organic nursery. We look forward to hearing from you and
