Equestrian Quest offers workshops, trail rides, and equine assisted therapy -- all in Georgia O'Keefe country around Abiquiu, equisite high desert and mountain terrain. Our horses are trained for beginners, as well as advanced riders. Workshop participants are invited to stay at our ranch. These retreats have a spiritual, sometimes shamanic, cast to the horseback riding experiences, and a shaman is often a guest co-leader of the workshop. Equine assisted therapy ("Horses As Therapists") is guided by a Jungian analyst, who brings Jung's psychology of archetypes into the healing work with horses. See www.EquestrianQuest.com; email us at gdudley3@newmexico.com; or call 505-685-4629. 10/5/05
