Sheridan Creek Equestrian Center in Gardnerville Nevada is now accepting boarders. There is a currently a seven stall barn, an outdoor arena and pasture boarding. Before winter of '06 there will be a 85X200 foot indoor arena with stalls, four largw turnouts with shelters and heated water, wash racks with hot and cold water, and a trail around the property. Carson City
River Bottom Ranch in Carson City is a gorgeous equestrian facility. The solid barn has 10 12x12ft stalls with 14 x 20 ft attached paddocks. The stalls have automatic, heated waterers. Horses are fed twice a day with local, lush grass hay and turned out into runs to play every afternoon. The stall/ paddocks are mucked and the barn aisle swept daily. The barn also has a shower stall, and clubhouse. The clubhouse has a library of information, tables and seating, TV/VCR for watching training tapes and a microwave. The large tack room is complete with a washer for horse garments and refridgerator for you and your horse treats. There is a 150 x 200 ft. arena with a 60 ft. diameter, lit round pen attached for easy access during training sessions. Trail riding at the Riverview Park is nearby, with miles of groomed trails continuing to the Silver Saddle Ranch, or you can cross the river and head into the hills. When you return, you can cool your horse off on the hot-walker, or perhaps use it for hand walking a horse in therapy. We offer many activities throughout the year. We have equestrian camps, lessons and training. We go on trail rides, offer clinics, have barbecues and a Christmas bash. We attend local shows and travel to horse events together. This small, family oriented equestian barn is clean, safe, convenient and fun!
