Are you looking for a low key, low stress barn? Interested in relaxing riding, quality care and just plain good company for you and your horse? We are a small family farm in Southern Maine (Sanford) and are in the middle of completing renovations on a 200 year old barn to board horses. We now have six large stalls available with Ground Master Flooring system (wonderful!!). The total number of stalls will be 12-16. We have 135 acres, pastures, fields and woods. We provide quality hay and grain, water always available in barn and out. We encourage daily group turnout with run in shelter~ but individual turn out is available if desired. Year round riding will soon be available as we are in the final stages of completing a 72' X 160' indoor arena. Low key, low stress setting with lots of trails in the spring, summer, and fall. Horse Boarding in Scarborough Maine We are a small barn with six stalls which enables us to give personal care to each horse. We enjoy taking care of our horses and view them as pets. We try to gear ourselves to the busy pleasure rider that enjoys trails and the company of their horse versus the busy scheduling of showing and competitions. Our facility offers very large personalized paddocks attached to each large matted stall for the feeling of freedom even when the horse is stalled at night. Our stalls and paddocks are mucked and thoroughly cleaned daily, our walls, ceilings and floors in the stalls are swept weekly, all bedding is completely removed and fresh thrown in daily, fresh water is available 24/7, abundant quality hay is fed 3 times a day during the summer and four times daily in the winter along with two grain feedings a day. Apples and Carrots are a routine feature with our grain feedings, along with any supplements you supply for your horse. Daily turnout consist of 8-10 hours in our large pastures with shading, during winter days we will blanket your horse upon request. Our horses are inspected on turnout time and when bringing your horse in, horses are observed all day long in the pasture and monitored at night with an intercom in the barn. We provide a calm, caring atmosphere for your horse, along with a safe, stable attitude. We have access to miles of trails, we offer a very large outside riding ring, access to trainers, riding instructors, and fellow riders from beginners to experts. 3 horse stalls for rent in shapliegh maine. My dad has a beautiful barn with 3 horse stalls not being used. I know nothing about horses but he could use the extra income as he is retired. The stalls are very well built, he used the best materials, they have rubber mats on the floor. The barn has a huge hay loft, running water with extra strong pressure (some kind of specail pump so you can fill buckets extra fast), electricity with a radio and fans all set up for the horses comfort.
