Free room & board for Animal Care Taker:
Room and Board in exchange for tending to the animals on a small, quiet farm 7 days per week. Need someone who is experienced with horses and small animals and is self motivated. Being kind and patient is always an added bonus around here. The animals you will be caring for include 4 horses, 2 goats, 4 cats and 2 dogs. Hours are flexible, (about 1.5 ? 2.0 hrs. per day), feeding is done morning and evening. The dogs and cats are on automatic feeders. The animals are pretty quiet and gentle. In the summer and in good weather when the horses are turned out to pasture, there is minimal work with the horses. We would expect that you help out with fixing fences and stalls and maybe some tractor work. Other duties include cleaning stalls, grooming, bathing etc. In return you will have a rent free, nicely furnished barn apartment including water and electric. MUST BE Honest, Drug-free, Mentally stable, and Dependable. MUST BE physically able, reasonably clean and not afraid of hard work. NO Anger Management Issues or Heavy Drinkers Please!!
