I own a small vegetable production farm and a chemical/fertilizer applicator for Southern States. In converstaion with some other local farmers, and managers at southern states it was brought to my attention that with the increase popularity in horse racing, and horses in general, that proper pasture managment is an important point for many, breeders, racers, and horse owners. Though area fertilizer plants are set up to run in large size feilds and are unable to service the horse community with fertilizer and lime applications on there pastures. So i began looking into smaller size equipment that would be able to serive pastures with fertilizer and lime, to incesae the quaility of a horse owners pasture. My questions to you being invovled in the horse community due you feel there is a need for this serivce and that horse owners worry about their pasture quailty and the affects it has on the quailty of the horses they produce?
