Zuma's Rescue Ranch, a non-profit Horse Rescue would like to introduce
you to our 2009 "Art at the Ranch" fund raiser. Artist
Victoria Messenich has agreed to create one of a kind horse drawings
with the proceeds benefiting the rescue horses. Send Victoria a

PURGATORY COMPETITIVE TRAIL RIDE

This is one of the most popular rides in Region 3. The views of the San
Juan Mountains are spectacular and breathtaking. The wildlife sightings
include bear, deer, and elk. Ride the old Stage Coach Trail that takes
you up to unbelievable views. Join us for the trail ride experience of
a lifetime! This challenging trail ranges from 7,000 to 10,000 foot elevations.
There are plenty of clean mountain streams for watering horses. Well conditioned
horses will have no problems negotiating the terrain.

Brand new location in the beautiful Wet Mountains near Westcliffe. You
will ride a lovely private ranch with wonderful views and neat trails.
There will be plenty of water on the trail from natural springs. Elevation
from 8800 to 9500 ft, rolling foothills including high open meadows with
aspen, pine and fir forests. You will enjoy incredible views of the Sangre

The Tennessee Walking Horse Association of CO is hosting the NWHA Regional
Show, the ''Colorado Celebration''. Held at the Event Center of the
National Western Complex in Denver, Colorado. It offers an air conditioned
venue for both horse and rider, roomy indoor stalls and horse facilities,
warm up areas, and a large state-of-the-art arena. This show will have
classes for Tennessee Walking Horses, Mountain Horses (via UMH classes),
and open gaited breed classes. It will be a fabulous show, with lots to
do! Join us!! Looking for class sponsors, especially for the Mountain
