Mystical Meadows Equine Rehabilitation Facility is a non profit horse rescue that is now accepting horses for the spring. If you or someone you know needs to give up a horse due to not being able to care for the animal or any other reasons please let us know. We will work with your horse to make sure that they are sound and safe to handle. Once they have been assessed by a trainer we will do the training that is neccessary to find your horse the best home possible. Each horse taken in will have to have a release form signed releasing the horse to the care of Mystical Meadows.
We are a group of people that love horses and are trying to do the right thing for them. The training that is provided for each horse is natural horsemanship. Each horse needs to lead, load, clip, bathe, respect personal space, be desensitized, saddle, accept rider, and be under a minimum of 30 day saddle training before being available for placement at a new home. If the new home is not experienced with horses they must train at Mystical Meadows facility with the horse for a minimum of 90 days before the horse will be placed in their care.
We are very careful on who we place a new horse with and work to optimizing the care and love the home will give the horse. Please email Mary at horseserenity@yahoo.com or call 501-442-2989 for more information. 2/4/08
